Kenneth Denton RSMA, ISMP, FRSA

Renowned as a contemporary Master of Landscape and Marine Painting, Kenneth Denton continues the great tradition of English Painting established by Constable and the Norwich School.

In the UK, Europe and America, his paintings have been purchased by financial institutions, international companies, port authorities, statesmen and private collectors.

Born on 20th August 1932 in Chatham Kent he trained and lectured at Medway College of Art, and now lives in Norfolk. Kenneth Denton travels extensively in search of his subjects, painting in many parts of Europe and throughout the British Isles.

A member of both the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the International Society of Marine Painters, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Kenneth has served on the Council and all committees of the RSMA and is part-author and co-producer of the book: “A Celebration of Marine Art, 50 Years of the Royal Society of Marine Artists” published by Blandford.

With forty sole exhibitions internationally to his credit, over a hundred and fifty of his paintings have been reproduced in the form of prints, calendar and greetings cards. Prizes include the prestigious Hunting Group art awards.
